MASYAP Microfinance Follow-Up Visits

To ensure sustainability and growth of income-generating activities, MASYAP conducted follow-up visits among microfinance beneficiaries.
As part of its commitment to economic empowerment and poverty reduction, MASYAP conducts follow-up visits to microfinance beneficiaries to monitor the progress of their businesses.

In addition to the standard loan disbursement, MASYAP also supported several beneficiaries through the Murabaha microfinance program, which provides business assets instead of cash to help members establish or strengthen their enterprises.
Following the completion of the training sessions, MASYAP proceeded with loan disbursement to 162 beneficiaries, including young mothers.
As the current microfinance cycle concluded, several beneficiaries successfully graduated to the savings program. This transition created opportunities for new members to join the program and explore entrepreneurship as a pathway to financial independence.

In September 2025, MASYAP continued its mission to empower women and young mothers across Malawi through financial literacy, business support, and community collaboration.

Economic empowerment remains a core focus of our work. We continue to support women in establishing and sustaining income-generating businesses to combat household poverty.

As part of our ongoing microfinance program, we conducted follow-up visits to support group members running small businesses.

In addition to Murabaha, MASYAP is actively supporting support group members through the Qarde Hassana Program.

MASYAP remains committed to supporting its microfinance beneficiaries by visiting their places of business to assess their environments and offer guidance.
