MASYAP Qurban Distribution Reaches Thousands of Vulnerable Families

In the spirit of Eid-ul-Adha, MASYAP successfully implemented a large-scale Qurban distribution program aimed at supporting vulnerable households across Southern Malawi.

During the blessed month of Ramadan, MASYAP distributed 950 food packs donated by Road to Relief. The distribution benefited approximately 2,500 individuals from 950 households, including vulnerable young mothers, elderly women, and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Recognizing the ongoing food crisis, MASYAP through Road-T-Relief organized food pack donations in two phases to support struggling households.

Access to clean water is a fundamental right, and thanks to the generous donation from the Muslim World League, Patsani Village in Lunzu now has a borehole benefiting over 400 community members, including nearby villages.

In partnership with the Muslim World League, MASYAP provided essential food support to 200 households facing severe food shortages due to the ongoing hunger crisis in Malawi.

On September 9th, 2024, MASYAP received a generous donation from the Muslim World League. Puzzle-solving games were distributed to 11 children from MASYAP’s support groups.

On August 1 and 9, 2024, MASYAP made a meaningful impact in the lives of 690 vulnerable women and youth by distributing food relief packs generously donated by the Muslim World League and Road-To-Relief.

We were privileged to distribute qurbani donations to over 1,700 women and youths.

In April, Muslim World League generously donated two boreholes to MASYAP support groups in need, thereby ensuring access to clean and portable drinking water for their members.

Responding to the hunger that has hit, killing most of the people in the country and with the many complaints of hunger that came in from many MASYAP members, on the 13th of December 2023, the Mai Aisha Trust donated 331 bags of maize
