Qurbani as referred to an Islamic law, is a ritual animal sacrifice of a livestock animal during Eid al-Adha. The concept and definition of the word is derived from the Qur’an, the sacred scripture of Muslims. In the past days, Muslims all over the world offered Qurbani which means they sacrificed or slaughtered animals with the sunnah from Prophet Ibrahim (AS). Qurban brings the entire Ummah together by sacrificing an animal during the Eid ul-Adha festivities and sharing and distributing the meat to impoverished and needy families. By doing so, Muslims were performing a sacred responsibility and assisting those in need by making a Qurban donation. In the same regard, the Muslim World League donated 300 packs of Qurbani to vulnerable MASYAP members.
