MASYAP conducted targeted outreach programs focusing on women and youth groups that remain highly vulnerable to HIV and AIDS.
Women face increased biological risk of HIV transmission, further intensified by gender inequality, economic dependence, and gender-based violence. Young women aged 13-24 are particularly affected, with higher infection rates driven by limited access to sexual and reproductive health information and increased exposure to risky environments.
