MASYAP Women and Youth Outreach on HIV & AIDS

MASYAP conducted targeted outreach programs focusing on women and youth groups that remain highly vulnerable to HIV and AIDS.

MASYAP continued implementing outreach programs across various support groups, providing counseling and HIV Testing Services (HTS).
In the month of November, the Mai Aisha Sisters and Youth AIDS Programme (MASYAP) continued to strengthen its HIV prevention and testing efforts by providing HIV Testing Services (HTS) to both male and female clients.

Nine of our visits focused on routine meetings with members, where we discussed HIV/AIDS and related illnesses, modes of transmission, preventive measures, and home-based care.

In September 2024, the MASYAP women and youth coordinators, together with the HIV Testing Services (HTS) Provider, conducted a series of visits to various women and youth support groups.

August 24, 2024, MASYAP’s HTS provider participated in a workshop that was organized by Umunthu Foundation that explored the policy and legal aspects of Sexual Reproductive Health Services (SRHS)

At Mai Aisha Sisters and Youth AIDS Programme (MASYAP), we believe in the power of sport to transform lives.

During our outreach activities, we offered HIV testing services (HTS) to our members

In May, our dedicated team visited 13 support groups across the Blantyre and Zomba districts.

The Mai Aisha Sisters and Youth AIDS Programme (MASYAP) extended its commitment to the well-being of women and girls by incorporating HIV Testing Services (HTS) into its support groups.
