MASYAP in partnership with Opportunity International conducted a 2-day for the members that are on the loan and savings program on 9th 8th of February 2021 respectively microfinance training with the aim of empowering the members financially as well equipping them with business management and saving strategies. 40 members from support groups of Kameza, Machinjiri, Lunzu, Alasala, Chilomoni, Chiradzulu, Mpemba, Mtendere, Mvula, and BCA were in attendance out of the 44 expected. On the 9th February, 43 members from support groups of Chiwembe, Chigumula, Namiyango, Makungwa, Mkwate, Kachere, Kumwembe, Ndirande and Chemusa were in attendance out of the 44 expected.
A week later, MASYAP disbursed the loan to the women who attended the training.
