20 young women join the youth loan programme
After training with Opportunity Bank facilitator Mrs Comely Chinseu, 20 new members from five youth groups received their first loans.
The latest round of youth loans followed microfinance training by Mrs Comely Chinseu, a facilitator from Opportunity Bank. Loans were given out on 10 March 2021, and members of the savings programme met the following day (see youth savings programme).
On 10 March, 20 new members joined the loan programme, from the Mpemba, Lunzu, Kumwembe, Chiwembe and Mkwate support groups. All of them took an active part in the training.
