MASYAP continued implementing outreach programs across various support groups, providing counseling and HIV Testing Services (HTS). These outreach activities play a critical role in raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and other related health issues.
During the sessions, participants were educated on:
- HIV transmission and prevention methods
- The importance of early testing and treatment
- Addressing misconceptions surrounding HIV/AIDS
Discussions also included maintaining healthy homes and environments to prevent other life-threatening diseases such as cholera. Community members were encouraged to work together in promoting good hygiene and disease prevention practices.
The counseling sessions further provided a safe platform where participants could receive accurate information, address misconceptions, and make informed decisions regarding their health and wellbeing.
