These are routine outreach visits that are carried out on monthly basis with the aim of following up on their daily activities. The youth coordinator visits them to teach, encourage and make sure that all members are being treated equally. One of the activities that the members enjoy most is netball. Netball is great for team building because the game boosts trust and cooperation. Therefore, it will instill team work and improve their social interaction and verbal skills.
The girls are also reminded of the importance of education. They are encouraged to work hard in their studies because girls who receive an education are less likely to marry young and more likely to lead healthy, productive lives. They earn higher incomes, participate in the decisions that most affect them, and build better futures for themselves and their families. Girls’ education strengthens economies and reduces inequality.
