MASYAP Donates Own -Stitched Re-usable Sanitary Pads

MASYAP donated 49 re-usable sanitary pads to school-going MASYAP youth members on 5^th May 2021. The donation was aimed at helping school going girls so that they do not skip school when they are menstruating. We also took this opportunity to talk to the girls about hygiene and the importance of attaining higher education. The picture below shows some of the beneficiaries;

The beneficiaries were selected from 31 different youth support groups. They are very grateful for this donation as it has lifted a burden off their parents’ shoulders who could not afford to buy disposable sanitary pads on a monthly basis.
