On November 4, 2017, MASYAP youth converged in Blantyre at IQRA Propagation Centre Hall. Youth groups met to share experiences and discuss issues affecting their support groups in their various areas.
This inspired other groups that were not active to be participative in the activities that MASYAP organises.
The guest speaker at the event, Beatrice Maulidi, a nurse from at Elizabeth Central Hospital advised the girls to work hard in school and avoid immoral behaviours that could lead them into contracting HIV. Being a young female nurse, she posed as a role model which inspired girls that they can became anything regardless of their gender.
