Youth group visits build teamwork and confidence
Routine visits to nine youth groups encourage girls to stay active, spread HIV/AIDS messages and support each other, including with their education.
MASYAP’s routine outreach visits went well in all nine youth support groups visited.
The visits encourage young members to stay active so that they can help spread HIV/AIDS messages in their communities. They also build team spirit, so the girls support each other in areas such as their education, which boosts their self-esteem.
