Qard Hasan loans and Murabaha equipment for members’ businesses
Members on interest-free Qard Hasan loans are repaying well and saving, while the Murabaha scheme has supplied equipment such as sausage makers and catering pots.

MASYAP offers two Islamic microfinance schemes to its support group members.
Qard Hasan: interest-free loans
The Qard Hasan programme gives interest-free loans to help members become self-reliant and financially resilient. Participants are now in their second repayment cycle and are repaying on time, a sign of their diligence and of the difference accessible finance makes.
The programme also encourages saving, and many members are building savings alongside their repayments.
Murabaha: equipment for business
Through the Murabaha scheme, MASYAP sold members essential business equipment on fair, Shariah-compliant terms, including a sausage maker and large catering pots for food businesses. The equipment helps members work more efficiently, expand what they offer and earn more for their families.
Members are already benefiting from the new equipment. MASYAP will keep finding the right resources so every member can succeed in her chosen business.
