The MASYAP Women Support Groups Chairladies had a their first meeting on Wednesday 7th April 2021. All 31 groups had representation at the meeting. As scheduled, the women’s Coordinator addressed the women on daily conduct of activities in the support groups including the main objective of the Organization which focuses on HIV/AIDS.
The Chairladies’ meeting aims at bringing together all support groups and enables them to share experiences. It also enlightened the women on their roles and MASYAP’s expectations from them and what they should expect from the organization. In a way it reminded everyone the purpose of MASYAP and importance of coordination. This helped figuring out what to do moving forward as we have not conducted the meeting for a long time due to Covid-19.
