HIV testing, self-test kits and two quality visits
In November MASYAP tested men and women, distributed condoms and OraQuick self-test kits, and was assessed by district and national health teams.
In November 2025, MASYAP continued to strengthen its HIV prevention and testing work:
- HIV testing for both men and women
- Condoms distributed to promote safer sex
- OraQuick HIV self-test kits issued, so people can test privately and conveniently
Quality assessments
MASYAP also received two supervisory visits, one from the Blantyre District Health Office and one at national level. Both looked at how MASYAP uses Scan Form technology to record HIV testing registers.
The assessments gave valuable feedback and reinforced the importance of accurate, efficient data management in line with Ministry of Health requirements. They confirmed MASYAP’s commitment to high standards of service and record-keeping.
