In the month of November, the Mai Aisha Sisters and Youth AIDS Programme (MASYAP) continued to strengthen its HIV prevention and testing efforts by providing HIV Testing Services (HTS) to both male and female clients. During this period, condoms were distributed to promote safer sexual practices, and OraQuick HIV self-test kits were issued to enhance access to confidential and convenient testing options within the community.

MASYAP also received two important supervisory and assessment visits aimed at strengthening service quality and compliance. One team visited from the Blantyre District Health Office, while another visit was conducted at National level. The focus of both visits was to assess how the facility is utilizing the Scan Form technology for recording HIV testing registers. The assessments provided valuable feedback and reinforced the importance of accurate, efficient, and compliant data management systems in line with Ministry of Health requirements. These visits affirmed MASYAP’s commitment to maintaining high standards in service delivery and health information management.
