MASYAP visited women and young people on the microfinance scheme around Limbe to see how their businesses are doing.
MASYAP made follow-up visits to businesses run by members of both the women’s and youth support groups around Limbe, to see how members on the microfinance loan scheme are getting on.
Women
The women’s businesses are doing well, and the loan fund continues to revolve so that every member in every support group has the chance of an interest-free microloan.
Young women
The youth microfinance pilot started in November 2019. The young women have shown that they are capable of running small businesses successfully.
